ABOUT ERIC

I like building things.

And helping good founders build theirs.

I’ve spent most of my career building companies.

Eric Aubertin, founder of Foundery

I’ve been a founder and CEO six times.

I’ve raised money, built teams, developed partnerships, launched products, created brands, changed direction and sold companies.

My work has ranged from building eFundraising.com and OneBigPlanet to developing AI visual search at Yadle and helping LifeGuides rethink its brand, fundraising story and growth strategy. Across those companies, I’ve worked on the business, the story, the product and the relationships needed to move it forward.

Some things worked.

Some didn’t.

Both taught me a lot.

THE GROWTH PARTNER I NEVER HAD

Foundery came from something I experienced myself.

I had investors, board members, advisors and plenty of smart people around me.

But I often wanted another experienced founder who had the time to understand what I was dealing with, challenge me, and help me work through it.

So that’s what I try to be for a few founders today.

TODAY

I’m still building too.

Today, I’m Founder & CEO of TrueLynk, a Relationship Intelligence + AI company.

I think that matters.

I’m still dealing with product, customers, people, capital, AI, strategy and growth in real time. That keeps my perspective current—and grounded in the work founders are actually doing.

HOW I AM

Curious. Direct. Involved.

Eric Aubertin in a Montreal Canadiens jersey at his draft.
Before startups, there was hockey.

I like interesting people and ambitious ideas.

I ask a lot of questions.

I like challenging assumptions.

I care about the story and the strategy—but also whether anything actually happens.

I’m most useful where strategy, story and growth intersect.

I don’t want to run your company.

I want to help you build a better one.

I’m also open to collaborations where there’s a natural fit with the companies and projects I’m already building.

“He is creative, smart, adaptable and hard working. Very engaging as well.”
